It is not a happy time for the residents and their parents/guardians of Rainier School. Bryan, our Action DD lobbyist, alerted us to the sad news the state Senate passed SB 5393 then sent it to the state House of Representatives. There the House Appropriations Committee will hold a hearing on SB 5393 this Tuesday. The Senate vote was 26 to 22.
We ask you to express opposition to SB 5393. There are two methods. One will enable you to submit written testimony. The other enables you to express opposition without submitting written testimony. Below are the links for either option.

I know these requests for your help arrive at inconvenient times. Those who want to kill RHCs are trying to wear us down. Please don't let that happen. The House bill, 1472, is still in their Rules Committee. It is possible they are waiting for SB 5393 before taking action. It is possible they may move that bill to the House floor for a vote.
