      -   Welcome to Lakeland Village Associates   -

OFM has posted on their website the Governor’s “Priorities of Government”(POG).  There are a lot of them, the category that we are most interested in is “Vulnerable Children & Adults”.  There are 12 pages of activities listed and arranged in order of priority, RHCs are listed on the first page as a High #1 priority.  That is a good thing.  And it shows the recommendation for 90% funding, which is also a good thing considering the state of the economy.  They also are following the Obama electronic connectivity method of communicating with the masses, and are encouraging interested citizens to express their opinions on these priorities.  Yesterday at the Friends Of Rainier meeting not only FOR members where there but representatives from Fircrest and Yakima School attended. I strongly encouraged EVERYONE to comment either via the e-mail, telephone, or fax number provided on OFM.WA.GOV website in the POG section. The more support shown for the RHC components the better our chances to stay on the first page.  Vulnerable Children & Adults POG it is noted on the 7th page under the “Buy Next” category it shows restoration of the 10% cut if funds are available.
